GLP1Rating is free to read. Here is how we make money: affiliate commissions. When you click a link to one of our partner telehealth providers and become a new patient, that provider pays us a one-time fee. You pay the same price either way.
Commissions never decide a provider’s score, its place on a page, or what we write about it. This page explains how we make money, what money can’t buy, and how to tell which links earn us a commission.
Our partner links run through Katalys, an affiliate network that works with telehealth brands. This is what happens when you click one:
We earn nothing from clicks alone or from the medical sources we cite. Commission amounts differ between providers, and some providers pay different amounts depending on the plan a new patient picks.
No provider can pay us for any of these:
If a partner’s service gets worse, we lower its score and say why, even when that costs us commissions.
Every provider is scored on the same four criteria: patient reviews and reputation, legitimacy and safety, pricing transparency, and process and access. Commission size is not one of them.
The numbers don’t line up in practice either. One of our highest-rated providers pays one of the smallest commissions in our program. Several of the highest-paying programs don’t have a review on the site yet, because we haven’t finished checking them.
Our Editorial Policy explains the full research process.
Every provider on our Compare page has an affiliate agreement with us through Katalys. Partnerships change: programs pause, end, or start. When a program stops, we remove its links from the site.
We also mention providers and pharmacies we have no deal with when that helps you make a better choice.
Affiliate income covers the work behind the site: researching providers, re-checking prices, tracking FDA and insurance changes, and keeping the site running. It lets us keep every page free, with no paywall and no banner ads.
Have a question about how we make money? If a page doesn’t make a paid relationship clear, or you see a possible conflict of interest, email [email protected] or use our contact page. We’ll review it and fix what’s wrong.
